Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Well my family is crazy in a good way! We’re very close! There’s 3 kids. Ben, Elizabeth and myself! Our mom and dad are so much fun and so supportive of all of our passions!

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
Well I started taking guitar lessons and singing at the Kentucky Opry in Draffenville when I was 12. And from there started my whole career in the music industry! I haven’t stopped playing guitar or singing ever since.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I love Hih Burger, Rudy’s on the Square, Sirloin Stockade and Tap 216!

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I grew up in Murray since I was 5 years old!

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
My good buddy Mel Purcell. I went every summer to his tennis camp. Love that guy to death!

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would travel to Bora Bora and soak up the sun!

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Favorite movie is Clueless! Favorite TV show is Sex and the City! I want to be Charlotte York!

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Like my mom and dad have always taught me. “A rising tide lifts all ships.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
To go Elk hunting with my dad!

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
The Beatles!

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
The former Holmes Family Restaurant. I grew up eating there almost every weekend as a kid and my parents would always make me go to the cash register to pay for dinner as a little tiny kid! Probably where I got my confidence!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would ask Dolly Parton to lunch at Dumplins. And I would love to hear her advice and wisdom.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
My favorite thing is the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market on the court square.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I see myself touring the world and recording new music! And when not busy touring and making new music relaxing on a beautiful farm with tons of animals!

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I love listening to nerdy podcasts!

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Montego Bay, Jamaica! Breathtakingly beautiful.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is October. Favorite Holiday is Thanksgiving. And best single day on the calendar is July 4th!

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My niece! She’s 7 years old and really looks up to me!

A smoking tobacco barn. Hmm I can smell it now!
