I am a musician, I play frequently with my fiancé Melanie A. Davis, and my good friends Leonard the Band. I also started a carpentry company in late 2020 and I’ve been pretty busy with that ever since!

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have two loving parents and an amazing sister (and three cats!!)

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I love playing music with my close friends, the combination of creativity and camaraderie is a beautiful thing.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Jasmines for sure! Also, it’s technically a gas station– but the Ezy Mart at 15th and Main has awesome Indian food!

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I’ve been in Murray for about 4 years now.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Tim Peyton, without a doubt. His artistry, selflessness, and dedication have made for a vibrant music scene here.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Switzerland! I’d love to see the little mountain towns of the Alps.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Movies, maybe Burn After Reading or The Big Lebowski. TV shows, The Office and Modern Family!

Q: What advice would you give to people?
The Golden Rule! It’s the only one we should need.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I would like to travel the West by train, in a sleeper car.

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
Father John Misty or Wilco

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Terrapin Station, it’s the heartbeat of the music scene here!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Neil Young, I would love to pick his brain about songwriting and musicianship. On the patio of the Apple!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I’m very grateful for MSU; I believe the community is much better for having it here.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Touring with a band, and engineering records.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I can be very anxious in public, I have difficulty relaxing sometimes.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Either Fries, VA, overlooking the Appalachian Mountains, or the beach in Culebra, PR.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
April- spring blossoms and baseball season! Halloween is my favorite holiday, and October 2 is my new favorite day (our wedding date!)

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Yamaha. They make everything from guitars to motorcycles, it’s insane.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My fiancé, I admire her in countless ways.

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
I love the African spice blend Berbere, and hot black coffee!
