Terrence J Little

Born and raised in the great south side of Chicago but always and ever a Chicago Cubs fan. Being the oldest of 6 children proved to be a blessing even if I didn’t think so when I was a kid. I have been married to my lovely bride, Judi, for more than 50 years. Three daughters, 8 Grandkids, 4 great grands. Happily retired after a career that was mostly training and management. Have enjoyed my time since doing community theater, photography, and civic awareness. Enjoy travel but almost always by car. (spent for too many hours on airplanes)

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
3 daughters, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I enjoy my time with my hobbies, especially photography. I take 100’s photos for NGO’s, Non-profits, clubs etc. and never charge a cent. It’s my way of giving back

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
we moved to Murray in 2004

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Lisa Cope, general manager of Playhouse in the Park. She knows theater, she knows community, she plays a great piano and give great hugs

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Anywhere that there is a 21c hotel. We have been cooped up in our home for the last year. We are ready to bust out.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
The Blues Brothers, Ferris Buhler’s Day Off, – The First 48, Forensic Files, Rick and Morty, Bob’s Burgers

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Keep on, Keeping on. Never slow down or give up. You can’t let bad times ruin your life or happiness

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
To photograph another eclipse

Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
Any Delta Blues group or singer

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Playhouse in the Park

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Dr. Anthony Fauci. I admire the man’s courage, straightforward approach, and broad knowledge. At Mugsy’s of course

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Murray is a generous, giving, helping, volunteering community. Plus people wave at one another while walking down the street

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Very old

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
For 10 years I was Commodore of the largest dry land yacht club in the U.S.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Mount Fuji, Japan or the Grand Canyon

December (anniversay, wife’s birthday, and Christmas) – 4th of July – January 1

Everyone who helped me when I was young and struggling. I now try to help anyone I can, when I can
